It looks like Boyd Holbrook might have some company in Shane Black's new Predator movie. Just a few weeks after it was reported that Holbrook is in talks to star in The Predator, it's now been revealed by THR that Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse, Deliver Us From Evil) is also in discussions to join the movie's ranks.

According to THR, should Munn join the cast of The Predator, she would play a "scientist opposite Holbrook’s Special Forces commando." The plot is largely unknown at this point, and filming is expected to begin in February.

The Predator is scheduled for a February 9th, 2018 theatrical release. Shane Black (who co-starred as the wisecracking Rick Hawkins in the original Predator) will direct The Predator from a screenplay he co-wrote with Fred Dekker (who helmed Night of the Creeps and The Monster Squad—a film he also co-wrote with Black).

The Predator is expected to reboot the franchise while also serving as somewhat of a sequel. Although there has been speculation, it's unclear at this time whether or not Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role as Dutch from 1987's Predator. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more details as they are revealed. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on Munn potentially co-starring in The Predator?
