Judging by the new Comic-Con trailer for Robert Kirkman's Outcast, viewers are in for an intense final three episodes of Season 1. The first of the upcoming trio airs tonight at 10:00pm EST on Cinemax, and we have photos and preview videos teasing what lies ahead for Kyle, Rev. Anderson, and others.
“Episode 108 – “What Lurks Within”: Rev. Anderson (Philip Glenister) finds himself increasingly alienated; Kyle (Patrick Fugit) has a stunning revelation from Sidney (Brent Spiner).
“Based on the Skybound/Image comic title by Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta, Outcast stars Patrick Fugit as Kyle Barnes, who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life and has sequestered himself from those he loves for fear of causing greater hurt. Now, with the help of Reverand Anderson (Philip Glenister), a West Virginia evangelist who believes he is a soldier in God’s holy war against the forces of evil on Earth, the young man embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate — and the fate of the world — forever.”
Written by Tony Basgallop and directed by Scott Winant, "What Lurks Within" premieres tonight at 10:00 p.m. EST on Cinemax, followed by repeat showings tonight at 11:00 p.m. and midnight, 30th (9:00 p.m., 11:40 p.m.), and 31st (6:30 p.m.), and Aug. 1st (11:00 p.m.), 2nd (2:00 a.m.), 3rd (10:00 p.m.), 4th (9:00 p.m.), 11th (10:55 p.m.) and 21st (5:55 p.m.).
