Also included in our latest round-up is a new release date for Mike Flanagan's Before I Wake and early details on an upcoming UK theatrical re-release of Tod Browning's classic 1932 horror film, Freaks.

Before I Wake: Variety reports that Mike Flanagan's Before I Wake, originally scheduled to come out on May 8th, is now slated to hit theaters on September 25th from Relativity Studios.

"In this intense and heart pounding supernatural thriller, Jessie (Kate Bosworth) and Mark (Thomas Jane) decide to take in a sweet and loving 8-year-old boy, Cody. Unbeknownst to them, Cody is terrified of falling asleep. At first, they assume his previous unstable homes caused his aversion to sleep, but soon discover why: Cody's dreams manifest in reality as he sleeps. In one moment they experience the incredible wonder of Cody's imagination, and in the next, the horrific nature of his night terrors. Freaks UK Theatrical Re-Release: According to ScreenDaily, Hollywood Classics is set to re-release Tod Browning’s Freaks in UK theaters this June. Here's an excerpt from what Hollywood Classics told ScreenDaily:

“Under our relationship with certain studios, we can create DCPs for selected features that we feel will be of particular interest to a discerning audience.

“Tod Browning’s Freaks is widely considered of great cinematic importance, reflecting the macabre historical fascination of travelling freak shows - however the feature isn’t widely available on home entertainment or TV/VOD in the UK."

Synopsis: "A circus' beautiful trapeze artist agrees to marry the leader of side-show performers, but his deformed friends discover she is only marrying him for his inheritance."
