Syfy and The Asylum announced the new title of Sharknado 4 yesterday and the official title is... Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. Sharknado 4 debuts Sunday, July 31st at 8:00pm EST. Also in this round-up: casting news for Death House, a look at Alamo Drafthouse's Hardcore Henry PSA, and Kickstarter details for Zombie With a Shotgun.

Sharknado 4: Press Release (via The Futon Critic): "WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA - April 1, 2016 - Syfy and The Asylum today revealed that the official title of the next SHARKNADO movie is... SHARKNADO: THE 4TH AWAKENS! The two-hour original movie will premiere four months from now on a TV very, very nearby - on Syfy, Sunday, July 31st at 8 PM ET/PT.

The fourth installment of the SHARKNADO franchise will take place five years after the East Coast was ravaged in last summer's SHARKNADO 3: OH HELL NO!. Fin (Ian Ziering), his family and the cosmos have been blissfully sharknado-free in the intervening years, but now sharks - and 'nados! - are being whipped up in places (and ways) least expected.

Tara Reid is also set to return as April Wexler to reveal the outcome of the fan-voted #AprilLives or #AprilDies social campaign. David Hasselhoff (as Gil Shepard) and Ryan Newman (as Claudia Shepard) will also reprise their SHARKNADO 3 roles. New additions to the SHARKNADO: THE 4TH AWAKENS cast include Gary Busey, Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, Masiela Lusha and Cheryl Tiegs (with more to be announced soon!).

SHARKNADO: THE 4TH AWAKENS is a production of The Asylum. Anthony C. Ferrante returns to direct an original screenplay written by Thunder Levin.

Hardcore Henry: "Alamo Drafthouse, Rooster Teeth, and Hardcore Henry have a very important message for those who talk or text in the movie theater.

Alamo Drathouse’s newest PSA was produced in partnership with Rooster Teeth and features Sharlto Copley, Henry, and delicious oven baked cookies.

Strap in. Hardcore Henry is one of the most unflinchingly original wild rides to hit the big screen in a long time: You remember nothing. Mainly because you’ve just been brought back from the dead by your wife (Haley Bennett). She tells you that your name is Henry. Five minutes later, you are being shot at, your wife has been kidnapped, and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Danila Kozlovsky); he’s a powerful warlord with an army of mercenaries, and a plan for world domination. You’re also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, and everyone wants you dead. Everyone except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy (Sharlto Copley). He may be on your side, but you aren’t sure. If you can survive the insanity, and solve the mystery, you might just discover your purpose and the truth behind your identity. Good luck, Henry. You’re likely going to need it."

Written and directed by Ilya Naishuller, Hardcore Henry hits theaters nationwide on April 8th from STX Entertainment. The film stars Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, Andrey Dementyev, Dasha Charusha, and Sveta Ustinova.

Zombie With a Shotgun Kickstarter: "Are you guys tired of the same old zombie projects where the humans need to survive the zombie apocalypse or when humans fight each other and the story isn't about the zombies at all?

Zombie with a Shotgun is going to be that zombie film where all the rules we know about zombie films go right out the window.

In this film, the zombie will be the hero and it will have others (zombies) to help out the war against the humans. The story follows Aaron who isn't sure if he is infected with the zombie virus or some other infection. He takes this journey with his girlfriend Rachel and his shotgun where they both find out the deep secrets of the zombie virus and their love life.

This project will have what Zombie and Horror fans have been waiting for...

We love to tell you more, but we need your help to raise at least $50,000.00 to have the movie made and delivered to you guys.

[Also,] see how this all started when Zombie with a Shotgun was first created into a web-series."
