Surfing in the sun can take a scary turn when you see a fin slicing through the waves. Ahead of its release on June 29th, a new video for The Shallows teases a tense showdown between Nancy (Blake Lively) and a great white shark.
“In the taut thriller The Shallows, when Nancy (Blake Lively) is surfing on a secluded beach, she finds herself on the feeding ground of a great white shark. Though she is stranded only 200 yards from shore, survival proves to be the ultimate test of wills, requiring all of Nancy’s ingenuity, resourcefulness, and fortitude.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, 2005’s House of Wax) from a screenplay by Anthony Jaswinski, The Shallows stars Blake Lively and will hit theaters on June 29th via Sony Pictures.
