The Walking Dead: Cold Storage Webisodes Released

2012/10/01 16:21:44 UTC

Last year, AMC released the first series of The Walking Dead webisodes. Directed by Greg Nicotero, they focused on the backstory of the popular "Bicycle Girl" zombie and were a big hit with fans of property. The new series of webisodes, titled Cold Storage, has just been released and we have all four episodes for you to watch.

“Cold Storage” tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse. He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named BJ (played Daniel Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.

In addition to Stewart (The Dark Knight Rises) and Roebuck (Lost), the cast of “Cold Storage” includes Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever) as Kelly and Chris Nelson (Kill Bill) as Harris."

The Walking Dead: Cold Storage was developed, produced and directed by Greg Nicotero.

Last year, AMC had a deal with Machinima and the videos were available to everyone at the same time. I’m not sure if this is related to international partners like FX doing their own separate webisode release, but I’ll keep an eye out for a region free release from AMC.

Good stuff, although I thought they should have continued in the tradition of a ‘zombie origin’ story. Like the well zombie would have been cool.
