New Additions to Stephen King’s Bag of Bones

There are two new cast additions to the currently-filming adaptation of Stephen King's Bag of Bones. Jason Priestley (90210) will be playing Mike Noonan's literary agent, while William Schallert will be playing the "father-in-law of a young mother going through a custody battle".

Directed by Mick Garris, the four-hour miniseries will premiere on A&E as a two-night special event and stars Pierce Brosnan, Annabeth Gish, Anika Noni,Caitlin Carmichael, and Melissa George.

“Several years after his wife’s death, novelist Mike Noonan still suffers writer’s block. A dream inspires him to return to the couple’s summer retreat in western Maine, a lakeside house called Sara Laughs. Shortly after arriving, Noonan is caught in the middle of a custody battle involving the daughter of an attractive young widow and the child’s enormously wealthy grandfather. He also discovers that Sara Laughs is haunted and that his late wife, Joanna, still has something to tell him.”
