If you've ever wondered what was happening outside of the US in Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series, then the new one-shot digital comic, The Walking Dead: The Alien, is going to make your day. Set in Barcelona, Spain, and featuring the first Walking Dead comic book story not written by Kirkman, The Walking Dead: The Alien is now available to download from Panel Syndicate.

Our friends at TheWalkingDead.com reported the exciting news about The Walking Dead: The Alien, which was written by Brian K. Vaughan (Saga) with art by Marcos Martin (Doctor Strange: The Oath).

The new comic pulls back the curtain on a zombie-infested Barcelona and plunges readers into an engrossing 31-page apocalyptic adventure. In addition to its geographic expansion of The Walking Dead comic book universe, this one-shot also features a HUGE reveal that should shock longtime readers and newcomers alike.

The Walking Dead: The Alien is now available to download on Panel Syndicate, a site created by Vaughan and Martin (along with Muntsa and Vicente) that allows readers to name their prices for new comics. The cover art below is thanks to TheWalkingDead.com, and a new video interview released by Skybound shows Vaughan and Kirkman discussing the humorous backstory of how this one-shot came to be.
