There hasn't been any newsworthy items related to Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters since March, so we're glad to finally start seeing more of this film. Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star as Hansel and Gretel and we have the first official photo of them from the movie.

Set for release on March 2, 2012 the film is directed by Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow) and also stars Peter Stormare and Famke Janssen. The movie has been described as “…a dark action movie that picks up with the fairy tale siblings years after the traumatic childhood incident has turned them into bounty hunters”.

The first trailer for the film is expected next week, and you can read an interview with Tommy Wirkola at EW.com .
