Formerly known as The Conjuring, we have two new casting updates to report on for The Warren Files. The movie “is inspired by the true-life story of the Perron family, who claimed they ‘lived among the dead’ in the 1970s as spirits both friendly and sinister inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse.”

Variety reports that Hayley McFarland and Shanley Caswell have been cast as the older siblings in the Perron family. Previous casting announcements revealed that Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, and Lili Taylor will star in the movie. Livingston and Taylor will play the role of Mr. and Mrs. Perron, and Mackenzie Foy and Joey King recently joined the film as their younger children.

A sequel to Insidious was officially announced last month, but James Wan will be moving forward with this project first. Filming is expected to begin on February 21st in North Carolina.
