We knew which actors from American Horror Story Season 1 would be returning, but we now have a report of a new actress who has joined the cast. According to TVLine, French actress Lizzie Brocheré (pictured below) will be playing the role of Gia.

Previously, it was revealed that a new character would be based off of Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted and would be a villain to Jessica Lange's character. It is now being reported that the part has been "changed considerably", although no specifics have been provided.

In case you missed our earlier news, the Harmon’s story is done and American Horror Story Season 2 features a brand new story, characters, theme, and location. This time the horror will take place in an institution on the east coast. Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, and Lily Rabe will all be making a return to the show, but will be playing new characters. Aside from Brocheré, the only other new actor at this point is Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine.

The writing and casting of season 2 is still ongoing, with shooting expected in to start in July. American Horror Story will return this October.
