MONSTROUS: Fang & Fur: "MONSTROUS is a new immersive queer horror experience that combines the worlds of scare attractions and queer nightlife into one thrilling event with so much to experience. MONSTROUS: Fang & Fur at Nowaday is specifically themed around the timeless monsters, the vampire and the werewolf.

Explore the backyard of Nowadays, which has become an eerie village suffering the curse of the werewolf in the days following the full moon. You will meet feral lycan folk who are slowly returning to their human form, hear ghostly stories told around the fire, commune with spirits with the Mystic, and immerse yourself in the haunting melodies of Hannah Gill and her band. If you survive long enough, you just might come face to face with a full fledged werewolf.

Journey into the dark club interior of Nowadays and discover a vampire den of pleasure and sin. Witness an Elizabeth Bathory style rope suspension demonstration, dance amongst the vampires to DJ sets by Sissies of Mercy and DJ BEAU BEAU, and be seduced by musical performances from Madison Rose, Attis, and dark pop witch, Lexxe. MCing the Fang Club is nightlife and horror fiend, Andrew Barret Cox. Join us for the bloodbath.

Additionally, explore the Waning Moon Nightwares Market and treat yourself to something sweet. Purchase merch from our performers and support local small businesses. You will also have multiple exciting opportunities to tip the entertainment throughout the evening so be sure to bring cash to show some extra love to these artists."

HALLOWEEN Set to Appear on Over 600 Screens This October: "Recognized as the quintessential classic horror film by Parade magazine,  Halloween (1978) will return to the big screen this October, hitting over 600 theatres and drive-ins  across more than 400 markets. Since its groundbreaking debut in 1978, Halloween has set the  standard for the horror genre, spawning 12 additional films in a franchise that has captivated  audiences for over four decades. This October, fans will also have the opportunity to see Halloween

4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers in select markets. Tickets can be found at Halloween 1978

“The best way to experience Halloween this season, is on the big screen,” stated Malek Akkad, CEO  of Trancas International Films. “We are excited to collaborate with our partners at CineLife  Entertainment® to bring Halloween, Halloween 4 and Halloween 5 to so many theaters and markets.  This is a chance for both long-time fans and a new generation to experience the thrill of these iconic  films as they were meant to be seen.”

"We are excited to bring the most prominent and enduring horror film back to cinema screens giving  new and old fans a slasher film treat they’ll never forget," said Bernadette McCabe, Executive Vice  President, CineLife Entertainment.

Halloween is one of the most beloved and revered horror films and it was the first horror film that  integrated horror trops to create the ultimate horror film. The film begins on Halloween night in 1963  with six year old Michael Myers brutally murdering his 17 year old sister, Judith. He was sentenced

and locked away for 15 years. But on October 30, 1978, a 21-year old Michael Myers steals a car and  escapes Smith’s Grove. He returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he looks for  his next victims. Halloween was written by John Carpenter and Debra Hill and directed by Carpenter.  It starred Jamie Lee Curtis in her film debut, Donald Pleasence, P.J. Soles and Nancy Loomis.

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers was released nearly a decade later in 1988. The  apparently comatose Michael Myers (George P. Wilbur) is being transferred from one hospital to  another, but he wakes up when the ambulance crew talk about his surviving niece, Jamie (Danielle  Harris). After slaughtering his attendants, Myers sets out to find his one living relative who is,  fortunately, being cared for by a kind and resourceful foster sister named Rachel (Ellie Cornell).  Meanwhile, the ever-cautious Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) remains on the killer's path.

In Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, Michael Myers (Donald L. Shanks) awakens from  a year-long coma and stalks his way back to his small hometown in Illinois, intent on killing his niece,  Jamie (Danielle Harris), who has been confined to a mental institution since Michael's last attempt to  slay her. Suspecting a psychic link between Michael and Jamie, psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald  Pleasence) joins forces with Sheriff Ben Meeker (Beau Starr) and attempts to stop Michael's latest  rampage."
