Apollo 18, the found footage sci-fi film, was originally supposed to be released this April and then it was moved all the way to January 2012. Now it has been moved back to 2011 and will be taking the spot previously held by Final Destination 5Apollo 18 is now set to be released on August 26th. Final Destination 5 is being released two weeks earlier and will arrive in theaters on August 12th, 2011.

The only issue with the Final Destination 5 change is that it is opening the same week as the Guillermo Del Toro-produced Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. You would think that these two movies would not want to go up against each other, so don't be surprised if we report on another date change in the near future.
