We've known that Telltale Games is moving forward with a second season of The Walking Dead video game, but it could be a while before we see the first episode. However, it appears we're getting some new content between season one and two, according to a new interview. Writer Gary Whitta recently teased new content during an interview with IGN:

"I can tell you what you already know, which is season two is coming. There’s not much to say because it really is very early…it’s a way off," said Whitta. "But, knowing that it’s a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead…there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two.” Whitta continued to tease that something is in the works right now “that will make the wait for season two slightly less agonizing.”

Those are some pretty vague comments, but fans should be excited to hear that more content will be on the way soon. E3 isn't too far off, so hopefully we'll have a full reveal by June or earlier. Episodes 1 – 5 of The Walking Dead video game are available for the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and iOS.
