Unfortunately, we still haven't heard anything about the release of Backmask, but we continue to see new photos from the movie. Today, we have three new Backmask photos, featuring a possessed Michael Ormsby that has been tied up.

Backmask was directed by Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacreand Friday the 13th remakes) and wrapped up filming last year. The movie involves six teenagers who unleash an evil spirit when they find an old record and play it backwards:

“During a sex, drugs, and rock-fueled party, six small-town teenagers find an old vintage record and decide to play it backwards in order to listen for any subliminal/satanic messages. Lo and behold, a seemingly malevolent spirit quickly infiltrates the group, wreaking havoc as it moves from one body to another. Eventually, however, it’s revealed that the spirit in question is actually trying to convey a message….and that the real source of horror isn’t particularly paranormal, but rather something (or someone) much closer to home.”

Backmask stars Brittany Curran, Gage Golightly, Stephen Lang, Kelly Blatz, Brett Dier, Nick Nicotera, Nick Nordella and Michael Ormsby. We last heard about this movie being shown off during 2012′s American Film Market, and hopefully we’ll see it this year. We’ll let readers know as soon as release information becomes available.
