Well, this is certainly a nice surprise for Halloween fans. Universal, who owns the rights to Halloween II, will be releasing a 30th anniversary Blu-ray edition on September 13th. According to The Digital Bits, extras for the release will include an alternate ending and the Terror in the Aisles documentary.
Terror in the Aisles is a documentary released to theaters in 1984 that was hosted by Donald Pleasence and Nancy Allen. It featured trailers and clips from movies such as Alien, The Shining, Halloween, Friday the 13th, and others. There are no additional details at this time, but we hope to have full disc information and box art soon.
