Filming begins on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D later this month and we have another casting announcement to cover. Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Sue Rock (Varsity Blues) has joined the cast and will be playing a character named Arlene.

In the last month, there have been reports of both Alexandra Daddario and Bill Moseley in talks for starring roles in the film. We're waiting to get confirmation on these two, but it seems likely that they have already signed on or will do so shortly. John Luessenhop (Takers) is directing the new film, which is scheduled for release on October 5, 2012.
