A clown mask on Halloween night is nothing unusual, but with Rob Zombie set to helm a project that includes both, anything could happen. Rob Zombie recently revealed a teaser video for his next horror movie, titled 31, and shed some light on the project in an interview. Now Rob Zombie has given fans another taste of what he's cooking up with the reveal of the film's first concept art.

Rob Zombie unveiled the first concept art from 31 via Facebook. Drawn by artist Alex Horley, the image depicts three figures clad in skeleton costumes, one of whom is holding a big knife in one hand. Sitting behind the three figures is presumably their ride: a 1970's-styled van with a skull-faced lightning bolt emblazoned on the side. These characters look ready for a fight, but it's unknown at this time what role they will play in the movie, though Rob Zombie has promised to announce many more 31 details soon. Here's what the writer/director had to say about 31 in a recent interview:

On the title of 31, whether it’s a prequel, and when shooting will begin:

“31, yeah, because it takes place on October 31st.

No, it’s totally different. All I can tell you is that it’s a completely original idea, it’s something new. It’s not based on anything. I’ll start shooting the movie in the fall. So hopefully starting from October, I’ll start shooting it. For right now, I’m going to keep the details secret. But it’s not based on anything.”

If you missed it, here’s the teaser video for 31:
