After first shown to audiences at WonderCon earlier today, we now have the first teaser trailer for Sinister 2 and a new clip from Insidious: Chapter 3.

Sinister 2: "The sequel to the 2012 sleeper hit horror movie. In the aftermath of the shocking events in “Sinister,” a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with frightening intensity."

Directed by Ciaran Foy (Citadel) from a screenplay co-penned by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill (the pair that scribed the original Sinister), Sinister 2 hits theaters on August 21st. In addition to Sossamon, Sinister 2 stars real life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan, as well as James Ransone reprising his role as the Deputy (referred to as Deputy So-and-So in the original film).

Insidious: Chapter 3: "The newest chapter in the terrifying horror series is written and directed by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell. This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity."

The directorial debut of Leigh Whannell (who also wrote the screenplay), Insidious: Chapter 3 stars Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott, Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, and Leigh Whannell. The Blumhouse Productions film from Focus Features hits theaters on June 5th, 2015.
