There were rumors that True Blood showrunner Alan Ball might not be returning after the 4th season, but he recently talked about his future with the show and fans should be happy with what he had to say.

During the HBO presentation at the Television Critics’ Association tour, Alan Ball revealed to THR that he has officially signed on for another year with HBO. While HBO has not yet announced the renewal of True Blood for another season, it is pretty much a given at this point.

There have also been rumors that the show was set to end in its 5th season, but it sounds like Alan Ball isn't ready to wrap up the show just yet: “There will be an end for me at some point but I just closed a deal to do another season ... I don’t have any desire to leave because I’m having more fun than I ever had in my life.”

True Blood is currently in the middle of its 4th season and we have future episode descriptions, a teaser trailer, and season 5 spoilers from our recent Comic-Con coverage:
