In the third installment of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story series, young witches have gathered in New Orleans to learn how to defend themselves against violent opposition. Even the Supreme Witch has arrived to ensure their safety and bring hell upon any threats, of which there are plenty. AHS fans will now have something to hold them over until AHS: Freak Show airs, as American Horror Story: Coven is coming to Blu-ray and DVD with a handful of special features.
Scheduled for an October 7th release from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, the complete season of American Horror Story: Coven will hit home media with the following special features (thanks to Blu-ray.com!):
“Over 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves. Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own.
