We're always excited to see who Ryan Murphy gets to join the cast of American Horror Story each season and he announced that Michael Chiklis has joined the cast of American Horror Story: Freak Show. The announcement was made during the American Horror Story panel at PaleyFest and it was also revealed that he'll play the father of Evan Peters’ character and the ex-husband of Kathy Bates' character.

Recently, it was confirmed that Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy are set to return, with Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts in talks to join as well. Jessica Lange was the first announced cast member and it has been said that Season 4 will be her last.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set in 1950′s Jupiter, Florida, where Jessica Lange manages one of the last freak shows in the US and her performers include most of the main cast mentioned above. American Horror Story: Freak Show will include thirteen episodes and is expected to premiere in October. Expect more details to roll in over the coming weeks.
