The casting process for American Horror Story Season 2 is currently underway, and a new report reveals who's up for the role of Shelly the Nymphomaniac. EW reports that Chloe Sevigny (Big Love- Pictured Below) is in final talks to play the role, which is said to be one of the mortal enemies of Jessica Lange's character. The report mentions that the writers/producers wrote the part with Sevigny in mind.

She'll join new cast members Lizzie Brocheré and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, along with previously returning actors Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, and Lily Rabe.

As previously reported, all returning actors will be playing completely new characters. In fact, the story won't even take place during the same time period of the first season. Instead it will be a brand new story set in an East Coast institution for the criminally insane run by Jessica Lange's character. American Horror Story Season 2 will return this October.
