It has previously been reported that the casting process for American Horror Story Season 2 had wrapped, but we have news of a new actor who has joined the cast. Chris Zylka (pictured below) recently had a role in The Amazing Spider-Man and appeared in The Secret Circle, Piranha 3DD, and Shark Night. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he has been hired for an undisclosed role on the new season of American Horror Story.

Chloe Sevigny, James Cromwell, Lizzie Brocheré, Adam Levine, Britne Oldford, and Joseph Fiennes make up the new cast members that will appear in American Horror Story Season 2. Shooting takes place this summer, with Season 1 actors Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, and Lily Rabe returning as new characters.

A specific release date has not been set, but the show is expected to make a return in October. The series will feature a new story that is set in an East Coast institution for the criminally insane.
