Over 25 years since he starred in Ghostbusters II, Bill Murray has answered the call and will appear in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news of Murray's appearance in the upcoming reboot, which is slated to hit theaters on July 15th, 2016. It's not yet known if Murray will reprise his role as Dr. Peter Venkman from Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989), or if he'll play a different part, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on further announcements. In the meantime, what do you think of Murray coming back to the beloved paranormal hunting franchise?

Based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Katie Dippold (The Heat), Feig's Ghostbusters features a paranormal investigative team comprised of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, with Chris Hemsworth also along for the ride as the receptionist.
