Brad Andrson (The Machinist, The Call) will be starting production next week on Eliza Graves, a movie loosely based on Edgar Allan Poe’s The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether. An impressive cast has already been assembled, that includes Kate Beckinsale, Jim Sturgess, Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley, but we have two more names to add to the list.

Deadline reports that both David Thewlis and Brendan Gleeson have joined the cast, but did not provide details on who they'll be playing. Both actors have appeared together in the Harry Potter series, and zombie fans should instantly recognize Gleeson from 28 Days Later.

*Spoiler Warning: We don't know how much of the plot will be known from the start of the movie, so we felt it necessary to add the spoiler tag. It's been previously said that the movie will follow a medical school graduate who takes a job at a mental institution where the inmates have taken over and are posing as doctors.

Filming of Eliza Graves will be taking place in Bulgaria. The script was written by Joe Gangemi and Paranormal Activity‘s Oren Peli is among the producers involved on the project.
