CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III’s Bonus Map “The Giant” Now Available as Stand-Alone Content

Fans of Treyarch’s super popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 zombie mode now have a new goal to set their sights on: "The Giant" zombie bonus map.

Now available as stand-alone content, “The Giant” zombie map is a remake of the classic “Der Riese” map first seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops. This map remake continues the story of four of the original characters—Dempsey, Richtofen, Nikolai and Takeo—as they make their way through “The Giant”, a secret Nazi research facility overrun by the living dead.

Available for the first time as a stand-alone purchase for only $5.99, “The Giant” was previously only accessible to season pass holders or purchased as a part of the Collector’s Editions of Call of Duty: Juggernog or Call of Duty: Hardened.

“The Giant” map is available now to Call of Duty fans on any platform as it can be downloaded on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 3. You can check out the full trailer and press release below:

Press Release: The Giant, a remake of Der Riese, one of the all-time fan favorite Treyarch Zombies maps, is now available for a la carte purchase for Call of Duty: Black Ops III players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for the suggested retail price of $5.99. The Giant was previously only available as a bonus, included with the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Juggernog Edition, Hardened Edition and Digital Deluxe Editions as well as part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass, but is now available as a stand-alone offering for eager Zombies fans.

The Giant takes players back to a secret research facility of Treyarch's classic Der Riese Zombies map, picking up the Zombies story with classic characters Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen and Takeo.

Additionally, The Giant is now available for individual purchase on PlayStation 3 for the suggested retail price of $5.99, with availability on other last gen platforms to follow.
