We knew The Walking Dead would return in October, but the premiere date was officially announced at Comic-Con. Showrunner Glen Mazzara announced that, for those in the US, The Walking Dead Season 3 will premiere on October 14th at 9PM on AMC.

Gale Anne Hurd mentioned that the UK will see the season premiere on October 15th and the episode will roll out globally over the course of the week. We'll keep an eye out for individual country/territory premiere dates.

The Season 3 trailer just screened at the convention and most of the main cast has taken the stage. We'll post a new story with more updates when the panel has wrapped.
