A "two-season limited event" that marks the third TV series in The Walking Dead universe, The Walking Dead: World Beyond follows the first generation to grow up on a planet now dominated by the living dead.
During the Comic-Con panels for The Walking Dead franchise, it was officially announced that the series premieres Sunday, October 4 at 10:00 pm/9c, immediately following The Walking Dead. Additionally, a special episode of Talking Dead, discussing both episodes, will air after The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
