MTV News caught up with director Francis Lawrence and asked him about the possibility of a sequel to Constantine as well as the status on the previously planned I Am Legend prequel.

On the subject of Constantine, he mentioned that they are looking into a sequel, but really want to go for a hard-R rating this time: "Constantine.. has this kind of cult following... and it would be great to figure out a sequel. And if we did, and we've been trying to figure one out, it would be great to do the really dark scary... hard-R scary version".

While I Am Legend performed well at the box office and a prequel with Wil Smith was discussed, Francis Lawrence pretty quickly dismissed the possibility of the prequel, saying "No, I don't think that's ever going to happen". To watch the video clip of the interview, check out the source link below.
