Scream Factory has revealed the cover art for their upcoming Blu-ray / DVD Collector's Edition of Ginger Snaps:

via Scream Factory: "We end January with yet another key art reveal for you. Check out the new key art for our upcoming Collector's Edition of the Canadian sisters-in-cahoots werewolf favorite GINGER SNAPS (DVD & Blu-ray combo out in July)!

Some of you may have seen this before as artist Joel Robinson (The Vincent Price Collection) adapted this from an existing piece of artwork he created prior to Scream Factory which we thought was cool to begin with and liked it enough to represent this fun cult film.

Production on extras have just begun and we'll have full details to report to you as to what they are in May. Pre-order links on our site athttp://www.shoutfactory.com/screamfactory should appear in April in which a limited edition 18" x 24" poster of the art will be available exclusively through us with purchase of the combo."

Synopsis: "The Fitzgerald sisters Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) and Brigitte (Emily Perkins), fascinated by the macabre, have sworn an oath: "Out by sixteen, or dead in the scene, but together forever". Outsiders at school, their only friends being each other, they live in a querulous world of their own. When they set out to take revenge on a girl who sleighted them, Ginger is attacked by a wild animal: The Beast of Bailey Downs. Later that night, as Ginger's wounds miraculously heal, it is clear she is changing. Ginger wants to believe it is nothing more than the onset of puberty; but her sister Brigitte knows better . . ."
