Two different species come together in an eye-catching underwater poster for Guillermo del Toro's newest film, The Shape of Water.

Revealed by Del Toro on Reddit (as well as on Twitter with the caption, "Unable to perceive the shape of you, I find you all around me") the new poster for The Shape of Water features Elisa (Sally Hawkins) embracing the amphibian man (Doug Jones), and you can get a full look at the heart-stirring display below.

Set in 1963, The Shape of  Water will be released in North American theaters by Fox Searchlight on December 8th, 2017. You can watch the new behind-the-scenes video below, and in case you missed it, check out the trailer for the upcoming Guillermo del Toro film.

Synopsis: "From master story teller, Guillermo del Toro, comes THE SHAPE OF WATER - an other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa's life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Rounding out the cast are Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Doug Jones."

Directed by Guillermo del Toro from a screenplay he worked on with Vanessa Taylor, The Shape of Water stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Octavia Spencer. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more updates.
