We're busy getting some exclusive coverage of The Walking Dead and Silent Hill: Revelation 3D at the New York Comic Con. Unfortunately, the internet is not being as helpful as we'd like, but we will be posting brief news updates throughout the day. We previously reported that a sequel to The Woman in Black was moving forward and it looks like a director has been chosen.

According to Screen Daily, Tom Harper  (The Scouting Book for Boys, Misfits) has been hired for the sequel, titled The Woman in Black: Angel of Death. The movie is expected to begin filming in spring 2013 and will revolve around a young female nurse during World War II:

"Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black."

Jon Croker was hired to write the screenplay and was said to be working with The Woman in Black author Susan Hill on the story. With shooting expected early next year, we should have casting news in the near future.
