Talking To A Stranger (aka Hablando Con Extraños) the new Spanish-language horror feature from filmmaker Adrian Garcia Bogliano, will make its official U.S. and Los Angeles premiere at the Hola Mexico Film Festival on September 26th and 27th, arriving just in time for Hispanic Heritage Month. Along with the announcement, we have the exclusive premiere of the film's first teaser trailer!

"The film was the only Spanish-language title selected for the Big Screen Competition at the 2026 International Film Festival Rotterdam, and went on to win an award in the genre competition at Guadalajara International Film Festival 2026. TALKING TO A STRANGER also marks the return of horror filmmaker Adrian Garcia Bogliano to feature filmmaking following Juega Conmigo and La Exorcista, as well as the feature-film leading-role debut of Gigi Saul Guerrero! HMFF alumni, known as a filmmaker, actress and prominent figure in Latin American horror, Guerrero takes on her first starring role in a feature.

Produced by Corazón Films in association with Mórbido Films, the film brings together two major names in Mexican and Latin American genre cinema. Mórbido Films is also behind the Fantastic Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, an international platform celebrating genre filmmaking."

Following its acclaimed festival run in Europe and Mexico, Talking To A Stranger now heads to Los Angeles for its U.S. premiere at Hola Mexico Film Festival:

Official Synopsis: Every grieving parent would give anything for one more moment. Hablando con extraños takes that impossible wish and turns it into a nightmare. After losing her son in a fire, Patricia is struggling to keep her family together and to trust her own mind. Then something begins visiting her wearing the boy’s face. A disturbing, emotionally charged descent into grief, where the person you miss most may be the last person you should let inside.
