Promising "a glimpse of what tomorrow brings," the new teaser trailer for American Horror Story: Apocalypse features the return of familiar faces... "with a vengeance."
American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy previously tweeted that the eighth season will be a crossover between the first season's Murder House story and the third season's Coven theme. In that tweet, Murphy mentioned that "WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER", so it looks like we can expect more dark magic this fall.
We can also expect to see the return of familiar faces in season 8. As TV Guide mentions, Sarah Paulson (who will also direct an episode), Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Emma Roberts, and Billie Lourd are all expected to come back for the eighth season. Also joining the cast in season 8 will be Joan Collins, Cody Fern, and Jessica Lange, who will reprise her role as Constance.
