The Conjuring 2 is slated for a June 10th, 2016 release from Warner Bros. Returning to play the roles of real life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren are Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
It's believed that The Conjuring sequel will focus on a poltergeist that reportedly haunted a council house in the north London suburb of Enfield from 1977–1979. The house was rented by Peggy Hodgson, a single mother raising four children at the time.
Moving furniture, levitating kids, and a ghost's communication through one of the daughters all supposedly took place within the home's walls, prompting Ed and Lorraine to pay the Hodgson family a visit.
Although an official plot synopsis has yet to be revealed, Frances O’Connor recently signed on to play the mother of a possessed girl. Wan directs from a screenplay by twin brothers Chad and Carey Hayes, the writers of The Conjuring. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for further details. In the meantime, are you excited to see The Conjuring 2?
