"Look at my muscles!" Fans of Doctor Who's Matt Smith can see him saying just that in Lost River, the directorial debut from Ryan Gosling that was previously titled How to Catch a Monster. The first footage from the film has made its way online and we have it for you to check out.
Lost River just screened at the Cannes Film Festival and stars Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan, Eva Mendes, Matt Smith and Ben Mendelsohn:
“Set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city, Billy, a single mother of two, is swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Both Billy and Bones must dive deep into the mystery, if their family is to survive.”
