Annabelle used to be a normal doll, but similar to Chucky from the Child's Play films, a killer's essence infected her, and now her pigtails and smile hide dark desires. A spin-off of James Wan's 2013 horror film, The Conjuring, the first photo from Annabelle has been unveiled and it shows the doll's owners looking warily at their new possession.
From Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, Annabelle is set to be released on October 3rd.

The Conjuring 2 will hit theaters on October 23rd, 2015, and it’s unknown at this time whether the events of Annabelle will directly affect the plot of the horror sequel. We’ll keep Daily Dead readers updated on any developments and expect to get a better look at Annabelle closer to Halloween.
