First Photo from Dexter Season 7

Take a look at the first official photo from Dexter Season 7, which picks up right were the Season 6 finale left off. The new season is currently filming, with the first episode set to premiere on September 30th at 9PM on Showtime.

Dexter executive producer Scott Buck via TV Guide: "Viewers might think we shy away from that moment of Debra walking in and seeing Dexter stabbing into Travis' chest, but it's just the opposite... She now has to deal with what she's seen and what she knows. And it forces him to defend and define himself."

We previously reported that Dexter had been renewed for a seventh and eighth season. A number of new faces will be joining the cast, including Jason Gedrick, Matt Gerald, Katia Winter, and Ray Stevenson, who will be playing a Russian mobster. Here is the first photo from season 7's premiere episode, titled "Are You....?":
