We always try to find interesting artwork for our readers and recently stumbled upon Disasterland, artist Rodolfo Loaiza's pairing of Disney animation with movie characters and pop culture. Here are two paintings from the series, featuring Jason and Freddy going after Disney princesses:

"Disasterland is Mexican artist Rodolfo Loaiza's tribute to pop culture, fashion, animation, horror films and the undeniable attraction of celebrity. The stage is set for fantasy to collapse and surrender to the inevitable apocalypse of 21st century Hollywood. Fairytale characters continue to dominate his latest project –this time caught in the headlines of our favorite tabloid stars."

This series will be on display at Loaiza's art gallery in Los Angeles until September 3rd. While the Freddy painting has already been sold, the Jason painting still for sale.
