"Did you know that a young boy drowned... the year before those two others were killed? The counselors weren't paying any attention." Though he didn't get as much attention as he should have during his tumultuous time as a camper at Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees has received the spotlight in recent years by NECA and Sideshow Collectibles, his imposing stature and relentless drive to kill immortalized in a number of detailed figures.

This May marks the 35th anniversary of the theatrical release of Sean S. Cunningham's original Friday the 13th, and both NECA and Sideshow Collectibles will help fans celebrate with new Friday the 13th collectibles, including figures of a Young Jason and his mother, Pamela Voorhees, from the former and a premium format figure of Camp Crystal Lake's machete wielding killer from the latter.

To celebrate our second consecutive Friday the 13th, NECA recently tweeted images of their in-development Young Jason figure and Mrs. Voorhees figure. The specific details for both figures are not yet known, but NECA did tease in a Twitter response that both figures could come in a retro anniversary two-pack. The figures are expected to come out this summer. In the meantime, we have a look at the tweeted teaser images below:

Also helping to bring the horror to the holiday is Sideshow Collectibles, who shared the below image of their in-progress Jason Voorhees – Legend of Crystal Lake Premium Format Figure, also due out this summer. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for further details on all three figures.
