Funko combines horror icons and Saturday morning cereal in their new line of upcoming collectibles.
Revealed by reporter David Axelson of the Coronado Eagle & Journal (and shared by Elvira, aka Cassandra Peterson, on her official Facebook page) during an interview with Funko founder Michael Becker, Funko will soon be releasing a new line of toasted oat cereal called "FunkO's."
Coming to collectibles shops (rather than grocery stores) for $7.99 a box this June, the first wave of FunkO's will feature Elvira, Freddy Krueger, and Beetlejuice flavors. In true "prize at the bottom of the box fashion," each cereal comes with its own mini Pop! vinyl figure.
As reported by Axelson, when milk is added to the Elvira cereal, it will turn black, when it's added to the Krueger cereal, it will turn red, and when you mix it with the Beetlejuice cereal, it will turn a slime green color. Based on Axelson's exclusive photo below, there will also be a FunkO's cereal for the Devil from the video game Cuphead.
Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more details on FunkO's, and visit Coronado Eagle & Journal online to read Axelson's full interview with Becker. Will you be adding Elvira, Freddy Krueger, and Beetlejuice cereal to your cupboards this summer?
