Gemma Arterton, Witch Hunter

Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace, Prince of Persia), has officially been cast as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, starring alongside Jeremy Renner. Directed by Tommy Wirkola of Dead Snow fame, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is being described as "...a dark action movie that picks up with the fairy tale siblings years after the traumatic childhood incident has turned them into bounty hunters. "

There is no release date set yet, but production should start quickly and another interesting bit of news given how many PG-13 horror movies we've seen recently is that Hansel and Gretel is aiming for a hard-R rating. I'm really intrigued to see what kind of movie this will turn out to be and of course we'll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything else.
