It looks like Dimension Films has set a release date for the latest Halloween film, Halloween 3D. Box Office Mojo is listing a October 26, 2012, although we have no other details at this time.

Previously, Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer were attached to the film and recently revealed that they are still interested, but their first priority is the upcoming Hellraiser reboot. It isn't known whether Lussier and Farmer are still working on the project or if Dimension has found a new director and writer.

We'll keep an eye out for new information, and with this news breaking, we expect to have an official comment from Patrick Lussier or Todd Farmer soon. We'll update this post if we hear anything later today. [Thanks STYD]

Updated 6/18: Todd Farmer posted on  Twitter, saying that he and Lussier are still working on Hellraiser and Halloween 3D: "Holy cow. That's alot of emails, FB messages and PMs. Love the excitement but nothing's changed. We're still doing both. : ) "
