If you were at the San Diego Comic-Con there were a few opportunities to get an early look at the new Godzilla design. None of that made it out to the public, but a full look at the "King of the Monsters" has been spotted.

Big studios have to work on their merchandise plans well ahead of a movie's release, so it makes it very difficult to keep something like this from the public. Thanks to Amazon, we have a look at a Godzilla book and figurine kit:

"Kit includes: Figurine of Godzilla monster with "fire-breathing" light emanating from his mouth, plus audio of his iconic roar, 48-page book featuring history, memorable quotes, and full-color photos from the movie"

Godzilla will be released to US theaters on May 16th, 2014 and is expected to be presented in 3D. While Warner Bros. will be handling most of the worldwide roll-out, Toho will be taking over for the Japanese release.

“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are the executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.”
