Final Summer synopsis:
We head back to 1991, after a long summer of fun and games at Camp Silverlake in the woods, where organizers are preparing to shut down the camp after the final season before it is sold off to developers. But there's something – or someone – waiting in the darkness to exact bloody revenge on the unsuspecting campers. Who is the masked menace and what do they want? Heat turns to horror in Final Summer – an old-school style, endlessly entertaining horror, with bucketloads of blood, jump scares and no shortage of macabre murders.
All My Friends Are Dead is the latest offering from Saw IV – 7 writer and Director of the Collector and the Collection, Marcus Dunstan. The film stars Jojo Siwa and Jade Pettyjohn, and has been acquired by Cineverse/ Cinedigm as part of a 10 film, $15m deal.
John Baldecchi (Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2U) will produce the pic. Dominic Ianno (Soul Surfer), Jason Resnick (Kidnap), and Kevin Greutert (SAW franchise) are executive producing, along with Clay Epstein of Film Mode Entertainment, Suraj Gohill, and Dan Rubin, CEO of Budding Equity.
The pic follows a group of close college friends who get a steal on a killer Airbnb for the biggest music festival of the year. A weekend of partying quickly takes a turn for the worst as members of the group are murdered one by one. They soon discover that each one of their deaths directly corresponds to one of the seven deadly sins.
The soundtrack to the film will also feature a handful of Slavvy’s original songs.
Vaynshtok’s previous compositional offerings include songs in episodes of VICE News, and indie slasher titan and Screambox exclusive Terrifier 2, which returns to theaters on Nov. 1, promising fans a preview of the blood soaked next installment Terrifier 3. Terrifier 2 was a runaway hit grossing $15,000,000+ globally on a $250,000 budget. Which catapulted Damien Leone into a deal with WME and a seven figure budget for the third installment.
