A director has been announced for Ghost Walk Studios and 333 Productions' Dead Slate and its none other than Staci Layne Wilson (Psycho Therapy). We have the film's production and casting news. Dead Slate First Details and Director Announced: Press Release: "Ghost Walk Studios & 333 Productions are proud to announce Staci Layne Wilson (Fetish Factory, Psycho Therapy) as the director of their upcoming horror feature Dead Slate.
Dead Slate takes you behind the scenes of a slasher film production and follows the stereotypical cast as they are stalked by a masked psychopath who slays in homage to classic cinematic murder set pieces. Max Wasa (Death House) will star as Sammie Borden, the film’s director of the movie-within-a-movie, and Brooke Lewis (iMurders) will portray Captain Lisa Jones. John Dugan (the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre) and Anna Margaret (Rock Paper Dead) round out the leads. Other cast includes Shanda Renee (Raising Helen), Raelynn Harper (Sorry Not Sorry Demi Lovato music video), and Luke Gregory Crosby (Maximum Ride).
Producer and screenwriter Kerry Fleming— who also produced and co-wrote the upcoming horror thriller Rock Paper Dead, along with Victor Miller of Friday the 13th fame, and directed by the legendary Tom Holland —says of Wilson’s coming on to Dead Slate, “We’re thrilled to have such a gifted talent as Staci come on board. There has been so much talk recently to the perceived scarcity of female directors out there, which we do not agree with, so we feel extremely fortunate to have someone of Staci’s caliber agree to take the helm for Dead Slate.”
With the recent success of films like IT, Happy Death Day, and Halloween showing that audiences are feeling nostalgic for the horror films of the 70s, and 80s, the producers of Dead Slate feel that their film will be a huge success with fans of the genre.
Dead Slate will be represented at the 2018 American Film Market in Santa Monica, CA. October 31 – November 7, 2018.

Living Dead Island Album Release: "This is the self-titled debut album from LIVING DEAD ISLAND, the brainchild of Tom Garrett (formerly of indie rock giants MAX RAPTOR), Peter Thorndike (former collaborator with Brit movie legend Ken Russell - THE DEVILS, ALTERED STATES, GOTHIC, TOMMY), Arran Gilbert, Adam Brennan.
The songs began life as part of the soundtrack for a horror movie starring Playboy model Monica Harris and Chloe Williams (Ron Howard's RUSH) amongst others, but gathered a momentum and a life of their own. The upshot is that now instead of the music supporting the film, footage from the movie has been re-edited as music videos for the songs.

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.
The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
