Motorcycle Revenge Flick Death Cycle Drops the Hammer in New Trailer Ahead of World Premiere at FrightFest UK, Film Rights Acquired for USA & Canada: "Black Fawn Distribution has just released the white-knuckled new trailer and festival posters for the Giallo-inspired revenge film Death Cycle. The film stars Kristen Kaster (A Knight’s War, Death Valley), Matthew Ninaber (Psycho Goreman), Sasha Ormond, and Justin Bott while also marking the return of director Gabriel Carrer (For The Sake Of Vicious, The Demolisher) to festival screens worldwide. The gasoline-drenched trailer for Death Cycle drops ahead of the film’s world premiere at FrightFest UK on August 24, 2025 in London, England. The film will also screen at this year’s Sitges Film Festival in Spain.

Produced by Latefox Pictures, High Rise Studio, and Chrono Visor Images, Death Cycle follows a woman who, following the death of her sister, is visited by a man investigating a series of brutal murders committed by a motorcycle maniac. As their shared fear grows, the killer's rampage continues, leaving them both questioning who the real monster is. The film was written by Dave McLeod.

“With our festival run about to commence, the Death Cycle team is ecstatic to have our world premiere at the legendary FrightFest UK. It’s been a dream of ours from the moment Dave McLeod wrote the script,” explains director Gabriel Carrer. “Given the film’s deep Giallo roots, and my personal connection to Italian cinema through my family, it felt only right to debut the film in Europe.

The film has also recently been acquired by Uncork’d Entertainment for USA and the Philippines while Black Fawn Distribution is slated to release the film across Canada in 2026.

“Gabriel Carrer has crafted a sharp, uncompromising thriller with Death Cycle, a film that masterfully blends giallo style with modern slasher brutality,” says Keith Leopard, president of Uncork’d Entertainment. “We’re thrilled to bring this bold, blood-soaked vision to audiences in 2026.”

“We’ve been long-time collaborators with Latefox so, this new release feels special,” states Black Fawn Distribution’s president Chad Archibald. “They’ve got a rich history of creating stylish, visceral, and dynamic features and we’re proud to have them call Black Fawn Distro home for their Canadian release.”

Death Cycle is produced by Gabriel Carrer, Matthew Ninaber, John Ainslie, Dave McLeod, and Andy Wolting and marks the first collaboration between Latefox Pictures and High Rise Studio.World sales for Death Cycle are being handled by Chad Archibald of Black Fawn Distribution.

LARRY FESSENDEN’S TRAUMA Wraps Principal Photography, Enters Post: "Larry Fessenden, indie auteur and founder of Glass Eye Pix, has wrapped principal photography on his eighth feature, a powerful ode to classic monster mash-ups which also serves as a direct sequel to three of his most iconic films.

Universal Pictures’ back-to-back hits HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1944) and HOUSE OF DRACULA (1945) famously grouped together Frankenstein’s Monster, Count Dracula, and The Wolf Man, allowing audiences to experience the studio’s most iconic monsters sharing the screen for the very first time. 80 years later, LARRY FESSENDEN’S TRAUMA OR, MONSTERS ALL places the filmmaker’s beloved visions of this trio of ghouls under one roof, offering up an unexpectedly humanist and uncanny tale.

LARRY FESSENDEN’S TRAUMA OR, MONSTERS ALL sees the striking return of the vampiric Sam, played by Fessenden, from his 1995 classic HABIT, alongside modern Prometheus creation Adam, portrayed once more by Alex Breaux from Fessenden’s 2019 festival favorite DEPRAVED. Joining them is the lycanthropic Charley Barrett (Alex Hurt), from the filmmaker’s most recent creature feature, BLACKOUT (2023).

Heading the cast in her first feature film role, is Laëtitia Hollard, who has since been tapped for a recurring part on HBO’s The Pitt. Hollard is joined by co-star Aitana Doyle, previously seen in IF THAT MOCKINGBIRD DON'T SING. Among the many Fessenden regulars returning are Addison Timlin, James Le Gros, John Speredakos, Cody Kostro, Marc Senter, Rigo Garay, and Joseph Castillo-Midyett, alongside Joshua Leonard, who has stepped out of retirement to appear, and horror icon Barbara Crampton. Casting on the picture was handled by Lois Drabkin.

Filming took place in Upstate New York, playing for Fessenden’s Talbot Falls, the fictional horror hamlet first featured in BLACKOUT. The feature was lensed by Sharif El Neklawy, heading a team of indie artisans working on and off over the course of a three-month span.

Fessenden, a lifelong fan of Universal Monster classics and the powerful messages about us that they can convey, says, “It was a slightly absurd mission to present my existential take on these monsters in a contemporary mash-up, but I enjoyed the challenge and I hope the film will feel both familiar and provocative.”

LARRY FESSENDEN’S TRAUMA OR, MONSTERS ALL is produced by Fessenden, Gaby Leyner, James Felix McKenney, and Tilson Allen-Merry for Glass Eye Pix. Also producing are Stirling duBell and Chris Ingvordson. Edwin Linker Executive Produces."
