The Greasy Strangler Mondo Shirts, Poster, Pin & Vinyl: "Yesterday we announced our release of THE GREASY STRANGLER on vinyl, an extremely twisted musical electronic soundtrack reminiscent of 80s video games complete with chiptune vocals, children’s keyboards, and playful bouncy beats.
In addition to the mind-bending soundtrack with cover design by Jay Shaw, tomorrow we'll be releasing a poster and t-shirts designed by Alan Hynes, plus an enamel pin of the Greasy Strangler himself designed by Chris Bilheimer.
Influenced by the films of John Waters, THE GREASY STRANGLER's shock factor is turned up to 11. A cult classic in the making, we think this will be a regular on the midnight circuit for many years to come. Be sure to check out the VOD release this weekend.

Q&A with Pandorica Director Tom Nagel: "John Carpenter meets PREDATOR in writer-director Paton’s multi-genre mixer that combines the classic elements of sci-fi, horror, suspense and action, resulting in a cocktail of a visually-stunning and relentlessly thrilling indie surprise.
PANDORICA is set in a world that’s plunged into a new dark age where humanity devolves into a vicious, primal state. A trio of youths, Eiren, Ares and Thade, have been selected to take part in the leadership trials of The Varosha Tribe, with the winner claiming the tribe for themselves. They must battle dark and mysterious forces if one of them is to win, but not everyone is worthy of becoming a leader, and the trio soon learn that fighting each other may be the only path to victory.
Starring an electric ensemble including Adam Bond, Ahmed Hashimi, and Bentley Kalu, PANDORICA released in theaters, On Demand and DVD October 11.
You hail from the UK. Is that right, sir?
That’s right…just another Brit trying invade the US film market. I hear you guys love our accent so I’m hopeful.
Would you say Pandorica is a distinctively British film?
Not at all. I’m personally far more invested in international cinema and trying to create things that speak to a wider audience. There was a conscious decision early on to not use British accents in the movie…in fact, we ended up creating entirely unique accents for the characters that have a sort of Scandinavian feel to them. The reason for this was to broaden the appeal of the movie beyond the UK. We purposely also never identify exactly where in the world Pandorica takes place.
What inspired it?
I’ve always been fascinated by the origins of mankind and exploring why we became the way we did. But since Kubrick said all that needs be said with a single jump cut it doesn’t really leave the rest of us anywhere to go with it. SO I turned to my other passion, post-apocalyptic sci-fi. I thought it would be interesting to create a movie set in a world that had essentially rebooted itself. Instead of civilisation being built on stories of how it all began, for the tribes that inhabit Pandorica, their world is informed by stories of how it all ended. It gave me a really interesting place to jump off from. Visually the film takes cues from John Carpenter and Neil Marshall whilst hopefully becoming its own thing too.
How long ago did the journey begin on it for you?
That’s part of the really beautiful thing about this movie. I was working on a different movie called Endemic and became really frustrated with how anaemic and slow paced I was finding the indie film scene. I co-founded The Film Label with Nick Sadler and George Burt to give things a jolt to the system. I wrote Pandorica in 3 weeks last June and then by September we’d raised the budget and shot the entire movie in ten days. By Christmas, the film was cut together and we premiered in March before going into a theatrical release around the UK in April….it was a complete whirlwind to be honest.
How long ago was it released in the UK? It go OK?
So we came out just a few months back in the UK and the film was really well received…we sold out a lot of screens and have picked up a real loyal fan base over here. Hopefully, that continues in the US and we can pursue the bigger budget sequel we have planned that is teased at the end of the movie.
Was it a good shoot?
The shoot was a great experience. Shooting an entire movie in 10 days with hardly any money was always going to present challenges, but the team assembled for this have been like my family for years so we all just knuckled down and found solutions to any problems that cropped up. By the end of it, I’m sure a few of us would just go wondering around the woods late at night longingly hoping to shoot just one more scene.
How did you find the cast?
The cast happened very organically. We held auditions but ended up going with our gut instincts for a lot of the characters. Marc Zammit has a huge social media presence so I was already aware of him when I asked him to play Ares. Adam Bond is playing Jesus for CNN at the moment and is friends with George Burt. He brought Bentley Kalu to the movie (who’s been in Age of Ultron and Edge Of Tomorrow) Luke D’Silva is a great actor and long time collaborator of mine and brought Laura Marie Howard to the party The final piece of the jigsaw was Jade Fenix. We initially used a modeling shot of her on the mood board for the character and when we were struggling to find the lead we just decided to bring her in. She nailed the audition and it wasn’t until half way through the shoot we found out she’d never acted before. She’s got some huge projects coming up off of the back of this so I think we’ll be seeing big things from her in 2017.
Any weapons training for them?
We had Amed Hashimi as our fight coordinator and he also played the villain Six in the movie. He gave the guys basic fight training and we used camera tricks to cut around it. The fight scenes were very demanding but I think everyone did a great job considering our time constraints.
What’s coming up for you this year?
I’ve literally just finished shooting my second movie Redwood earlier this month, so we are deep in post-production on that. The movie stars Nicholas Brendon from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and a trailer for that is dropping very soon. We have Dark Beacon by Corrie Greenop coming out on the Label next year too so we are super excited to drop that. And then next up for me is Glow, which shoots next year and is sort of like Tron meets Kill Bill. Follow The Film Label on social media to keep up to date with everything we’ve got going on."
"Starring an electric ensemble including Adam Bond, Ahmed Hashimi, and Bentley Kalu, PANDORICA released in theaters, On Demand and DVD October 11."

Let's Be Evil UK Release Details: "In UK cinemas and available on VOD 28th October.
LET'S BE EVIL is an unnerving, exciting exploration of tech run amok sees an experiment in augmented reality spiraling badly out of control.
Featuring British favourite Kara Tointon (The Sweeney) as one of the chaperones, and child actress Isabelle Allen (world famous as the face on the iconic film posters for the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables), LET’S BE EVIL is a gripping, first class sci-fi chiller, that mixes the paranoia of John Wyndham’s Village of the Damned with the thrills and chills of gifted child run amok movie Hanna, whilst pushing the boundaries of POV horror.
With a pulsing, It Follows-style synth score (by Mr. Robot composer Julian Scherle), slick futuristic production design, and ably supported by a young cast playing the sinister, hyper-intelligent candidates of the Posterity Project, director Martin Owen (L.A. Slasher) piles on the shocks, making this not just an electrifying chiller, but a prescient warning about the terrors of technology."

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.
The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
