Fangoria Pride Tee Pre-Order Details: "In honor of LGBT Pride Month, we’ve teamed up with FANGORIA to release a very special shirt, Monday, June 10. What started as some fun Twitter banter back and forth yesterday (follow @frightrags and @fangoria to see what happened), sparked an open conversation between both of us wanting to use the rainbow-colored logo they posted to raise money and awareness for a cause we both care about.

FANGORIA and Fright-Rags will be donating 100% of the profit from the sales of this shirt to AIDS/Lifecycle, a charity chosen by our dear friend, horror filmmaker Sam Wineman.

Here’s Sam with more about the organization: AIDS/LifeCycle is an organization very close to my heart. Each year, nearly 3,000 cyclists ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to fund the life-saving services offered by the LA LGBT Center and the SF AIDS Foundation. I am passionate about queer visibility, whether that’s in film or on the ride. Our visibility opens a dialogue about HIV that helps erase the stigma that surrounds it. AIDS/LifeCycle doesn’t just save lives; it informs them. Together, we can make HIV a thing of the past.

Pre-orders will begin Monday, June 10 at 10 a.m. and continue thru Wednesday, June 12 at 11:59 p.m. Orders will ship in 7-10 days and extras shirts will be made available online later this month (though the best way to guarantee your size is to order early!) Shirts are $28, available in Mens S-5X and Women’s XS-XL.

This item is a PRE-ORDER and will ship the week of June 21. Any in-stock items ordered with this PRE-ORDER item will ship when the order is complete. If you wish to have your in-stock item ship sooner, please place a separate order.

The Nightmare Gallery Trailer Revealed: "Seraph Films and AWOL Studios announce the release of the trailer for their upcoming feature, The Nightmare Gallery. The Lynchian horror film starring Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kevin Chamberlin (Road to Perdition, Jessie), and Mat Devine (Kill Hannah lead singer) follows Benson as a renowned anthropology professor investigating the unexplained disappearance of her star pupil. A mysterious collection of occult artifacts leads her on a dark, DaVinci Code-esque journey toward an unspeakable truth that threatens her career, her wife, and her sanity.

“This trailer offers a glimpse into the horrors and heartbreak that build as Amber’s character dives further down the dark rabbit hole of obsession,” says Gene Blalock, director and founder of Seraph Films. “While the trailer showcases the tremendous effort by many to make this film a reality, the raw and brilliant intensity Amber infuses into her character is simply mind-blowing.”

“The unsettling artistry and progressive storyline reflected in this movie strive for the ideal blend of entertainment and meaning,” says Charles Hilliard, executive producer and founder of AWOL Studios. “Films can delight and inspire, yet we are passionate about pushing the envelope and using this powerful medium to advance important cultural conversations.”

Magic Zombie! Glass Kickstarter Details: "Southern California-based artist and writer Will Penny is excited to announce his “Magic ZOMBIE! Glass” — a mystical drinking vessel that turns a regular tiki cocktail into a potent voodoo potion. By simply pouring a cold beverage into the glass, a zombie magically appears.

Penny is seeking to fund his offbeat concept through a Kickstarter campaign, from June 1st through the 30th. At the time of this press release, the campaign has already hit 150% of the initial funding goal. “I’m pretty excited to see such enthusiasm for the glass,” Penny says.

“I think it’s going to be a really fun product for people to use and display in their home tiki bars.” The glass is inspired by Donn Beach, the father of tiki culture and inventor of the Zombie cocktail. However, Donn didn't serve his Zombie in a tiki mug - instead, he presented his so-called "mender of broken dreams" in a tall, chimney-style glass.

The “Magic ZOMBIE! Glass” is an authentic replica of Donn's original glassware and features artwork by Nik Poliwko and Sveta Shubina, that pays homage to pre-code horror comics and late-night b-movies. The glass also includes Donn's 1934 Zombie recipe (courtesy of Jeff "Beachbum" Berry, Sippin' Safari).

The “Magic ZOMBIE! Glass” is exclusively available on Kickstarter through the end of this month (www.kickstarter.com/projects/magiczombieglass/magic-zombie-glass).

Every pre-order placed through the campaign will receive the magic glass, special limited artwork, and original exotica music - everything necessary to throw your own haunted luau this summer."

About the Author - Tamika Jones

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
